Before the exam results, before the pandal-hopping, there was that one afternoon every Puja when Shuktara arrived — and the whole house went quiet because someone was buried in it. For decades, this has been the magazine that was childhood for Bengali kids — comics with green-horned demons, goddesses who felt like characters from your own imagination, talking animals, mischief, and morals tucked so gently into the stories you never noticed you were learning anything.
Published as part of the much-loved Shuktara legacy, this Puja annual continues its decades-old tradition of comics, illustrated stories, mythology retellings, puzzles, and fiction crafted especially for young, curious Bengali minds — the same stories that once made you beg your parents for "just five more minutes" before bed.
